"Do what you can until you can do what you want" ~ Oprah Winfrey
Sitting around and waiting for opportunities to just stumble across you, will get you nowhere fast! Every day you need to get up and work towards your goals and dreams. Your path to those goals and dreams isn't always ideal or what you necessarily want to be doing, but that's the path to success. People don't just wake up one day with successful careers and riches without hard work and perseverance. There is a story of failures, trials, and tribulations leading up to everyone's successes. That's why we call them success stories!

I really wanted to be a Stay At Home Mom, but now I wanted to write therefore I've opened a blog. It's true that you cannot create opportunities while lying down. :) You have to start somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made money or anything important yet. I mean, my own personal story isn't a success story yet but it's a work in progress in terms of my mental health. However, starting my blog to help with it may lead to some success in helping others. You never know if you don't try!
ReplyDeleteIn terms of books? Well a success story about someone's mental health is reasonating with me at the moment and it's 21 reasons to stay alive by Matt Haig. It's a really touching and easy to understand story.
I am doing what I always wanted to do. Only thing I want now is to stay at peace.

ReplyDeleteI really agree with what you say. Life isn't always go along with what you desire. Path to success is never straight and flat, but I do believe I can get over it and be succeed.
Beautifully said. Sometimes we are forced to do things that we don't want but that's how life works. Time will come that we would be able to do what we want.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I do think that you've got to do what you can to get to your goals and not wait for things to come to you x
ReplyDeleteGood motivational post. Oprah Winfrey is a wise woman. I love her quote.
ReplyDeleteA great quote. Behind every success story hides the pain and tears. It may be difficult to be successful but it is never impossible.
ReplyDeleteYou are spot on about working towards dreams and goals. It's true; opportunities don't fall into our laps, we have to go after them. Our hopes are placed in our hearts because we have a purpose, and we have to fight to see those dreams come true. They will, with hard work and dedication.
ReplyDeleteThere is a truth. Start doing the things that are available in front of you. Motion will get you moving in the direction you want to go eventually. No motion means it all falls apart.
